საქართველოს პროკურატურამ ერთ პირს სამსახურებრივი მდგომარეობის გამოყენებით, დიდი ოდენობით თანხის თაღლითურად დაუფლების ფაქტზე ბრალდება წაუყენა. შსს-ს მიერ ჩატარებული გამოძიებით დადგინდა, რომ სამშენებლო კომპანიის დირექტორმა უცხო ქვეყნის მოქალაქე მოტყუებით დაარწმუნა, თითქოს შეძლებდა მისთვის ბათუმში მშენებარე ობიექტის ტერასას საბაზრო ფასზე ნაკლებად გადაცემას და საცხოვრებელ ბინად გადაკეთებას.
მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ ფართი კომპანიის საკუთრებაში არ ყოფილა და რეალურად მესამე პირს ეკუთვნოდა, ბრალდებულმა დაზარალებულს უფრო დიდი სანდოობისთვის ხელშეკრულებაც გააფორმებინა და საჯარო რეესტრში წარადგინა. გამოძიების ინფორმაციით, აღნიშნული ქმედებით ბრალდებულმა მოტყუებით დაეუფლა 70 000 აშშ დოლარს.
სამართალდამცველებმა ის 23 სექტემბერს დააკავეს. მას საქართველოს სისხლის სამართლის კოდექსის 180-ე მუხლის მე-3 ნაწილის „ა“ და „ბ“ ქვეპუნქტებით (სამსახურებრივი მდგომარეობის გამოყენებით, დიდი ოდენობით თაღლითობა) ბრალდება წარედგინა, რაც 9 წლამდე თავისუფლების აღკვეთას ითვალისწინებს. პროკურატურა ბრალდებულისთვის აღკვეთის ღონისძიების სახით პატიმრობის შეფარდებას სასამართლოს კანონით დადგენილ ვადაში მოითხოვს.
